DirectoryA client record nobody has to maintain
Every person and company you deal with gets a profile that fills itself in from your calls, email, and the web, with the full history of what was said and agreed attached.

Profiles that build themselves
Let a record open itself the first time a person or company shows up in a call or an inbox. No import, no weekly cleanup.

Activity timeline
Trace every meeting, decision, commitment, and document on one account timeline, so picking up a relationship means reading rather than asking.

Research done before you ask
Get the company's headcount, funding, and leadership looked up and kept current on the record, without anyone doing the digging.

Know which accounts need a call
See which accounts have gone quiet and what is coming up on them, so renewals stop arriving as a surprise.

Find the warm path in
Check who on your team has already spoken to someone at a company, and what they discussed, before you approach it cold.

Knowledge map
Link people, companies, meetings, and files both ways, and let the assistant follow the map further the longer you work.
Everything else the record holds
- Shared and private notes
- Keep a note the whole team sees, or one only you do.
- Ownership and handover
- See who owns an account, and hand it over with the history intact.
- Who actually talks to whom
- Read the org from who shows up on calls, not from a chart nobody updates.
- Every deal on one record
- See the meetings, files, and people behind an account without opening four tools.
How a record keeps itself current
- [1]
A name appears
Someone joins a call or lands in your inbox for the first time.
- [2]
Setten opens a profile
It creates the contact and the company and links them together.
- [3]
Research fills the gaps
Title, domain, and company detail get looked up and kept fresh.
- [4]
History accumulates
Every later call, file, and commitment attaches itself to the record.
Questions about the directory
Is this a CRM? Does it replace HubSpot or Salesforce?
It replaces what most teams actually use a CRM for: who you deal with, what was said, what was agreed, and what is next. It is not a pipeline forecasting tool, so revenue teams with complex forecasting usually keep both.
Do I have to add contacts myself?
No. The first time a person or company appears in a call or an inbox, Setten opens a profile for them.
Where does the company research come from?
Public sources on the web, plus the calls, email, and files already in your workspace.
Can we bring our existing CRM across?
Yes. Contacts and companies import from a CSV or an existing CRM.
What if the research gets something wrong?
Anything Setten filled in can be corrected by hand, and your edit takes precedence from then on.
Who can see a contact record?
Whoever you allow. A record can be private, open to the workspace, or limited to the teams and people who work that account.
Does it read all of our email?
Only the accounts you connect, and only to build the record. You choose which inboxes are in scope.
